First Phase

Initial concepts for the first phase of landscaping the Riverside area were approved as part of the Claire House and James House outline planning application. Concepts include additional planting and a natural play area in the area directly in front of the redevelopment.

For full details please view the application via the MVDC Planning Application Portal  www.molevalley.gov.uk/planningsearch ››  using reference MO/2018/1983.

As part of the creation of the Riverside Park phase 1, the part of the Highway in front of Claire House and James House is proposed to be stopped up.

Wider Park

In February 2020 the Mole Valley District Council Cabinet decided to allocate £100,000 to commission a team to create detailed plans for the wider Riverside Park during the coming year.
